PerceptIS, LLC has been awarded the contract to implement its call center solution and provide help desk support for the 66,000 students and 17,000 faculty and staff at Arizona State University.
Headquartered in Cleveland, Ohio, PerceptIS is rapidly increasing its presence nationally and particularly in Arizona. The firm has been providing call center support for a variety of applications at Phoenix based Maricopa Community Colleges and is in the process of implementing a call center solution at PIMA Community College in Tucson.
“The State of Arizona and specifically the Phoenix-Tucson corridor is a growing and dynamic environment. While we were initially attracted by the opportunities presented by that growth, we are also attracted by the high caliber of tech savvy workers graduating from our Arizona clients. They are a great source of current and future employees as we expand our operations and presence,” says PerceptIS CEO and Founder Bill Bradfield.
Darrel Huish, Chief Information Officer at Maricopa concurs. “There are great opportunities for synergy within higher education in Arizona. Many of our students go on to succeed at ASU. Many ASU students enhance their experience by continuing education at Maricopa Community Colleges. PerceptIS can be one of the common factors to provide seamless services to our students.”
To meet the increased demand for their services in the southwest, PerceptIS recently opened a second call center at 9831 South 51st Street in Phoenix. This call center will eventually employ well over 100 employees.
“Our call center architecture allows us to route traffic easily between the Phoenix and our original call center in Cleveland, facilitating load balancing and staff scheduling. In addition to handling calls from local students, we currently handle technical calls from US soldiers in Iraq taking on-line courses from one of the Maricopa Community Colleges in Phoenix. We are truly an international call center servicing over 500,000 end users,” notes Russ Seiter, Chief Operating Officer of PerceptIS.
“We are just seeing the tip of the iceberg,” adds Bradfield. “We currently support the largest four year university (ASU) and the largest community college district (Maricopa) in the country. We are excited about partnering with and serving these clients, and realize that excellence in delivery is the key to our continued growth in the Southwest.”
